This book is a manual for nurturers of civilization building. It is a textbook for global citizens, a curriculum and a charter for ideal-world schools. And it is a summons to the creators and builders of ideal world-schools. It is for teachers and other educationalists that are imaginative and aware of the global nature of political and biological life. It is for parents who want their children to be world citizens. It is for students who want to be civilization builders. Nurturing Civilization Builders is centered on visioning what the authors call StarSchools: its goal is birthing the best schools in the world. Such schools have many tasks. One is urgent: the prevention of global degradation. Positively, these schools have as their concern the maximum in innovation by the human family, in caring for children, the community of life, and our earth.

From Barbara Gilles’ words in the Preface: “Let’s celebrate and share our own special gifts—visible and invisible, inner and outer—while uniting our vision for balance, sustainability, justice and peace. The foundation for this vision is built on an acknowledgement of the value of all life. As we create together a world that works for all, we become worthy models and leaders for our children, our future. It’s up to us, the global citizens. We are nurturers of civilization building; we already are a global community of goodwill and love and intelligence and creativity. It is up to us now.”

Declarations & Affirmations

We are convening the best schools in the world.

We know now the schools we must have.

Teachers and Students are honoring their own deepest inner knowing, and our educational principles enshrine the new understandings in all the modern and sub atomic sciences.

Science is showing us that everything is energy, and the highest vibrations come from love. Can we open Schools of Love?

Together, Yes! We shall find the common global Schools where religion, mystics, poets, spirituality, a healthy earth and science come together at the highest Vibration…LOVE!

Schools of our own deepest truths are being born.

How do we open our hearts to love in the midst of fear? Through teachers teaching world love.

At the crises point of grow or die, we learn to live in balance with life and our home, Earth.

In the Schools of Tomorrow we create peace through justice, and we celebrate all of life by honoring its beauty, mystery, and wonder.  Our global schools will create a world that works for all.

Above is only the first chapter of Declarations & Affirmations of the book out of eleven chapters.
